Biography:

Principal Flute of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna and of its Philharmonic.
As principal flute he collaborated with the orchestras of the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Philharmonic of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
The orchestral experience leads him into contact with conductors such as:
G.A. Gavazzeni, R. Muti, D. Barenboin, M.W. Chung, D. Gatti, R. Chailly, F. Luisi, A. Pappano, G. Pretre, G. Bertini, D. Harding, V. Gergiev, J. Valcuha, O. Lyniv.
At the same time he carries out an important chamber music activity which leads him to collaborate with various groups such as:
New Music Studium, Orpheus Ensemble (dedicated to contemporary music), Choros Ensemble (of which he is co-founder) with which he has played in the most important Italian festivals and concert seasons, such as the Festival dei due Mondi in Spoleto, the Venice Biennale, the GOG of Genoa, Bologna Festival, Milano Musica, Sala Verdi Season, Contemporary Art of Turin. He has also collaborated with "I Solisti del S. Carlo", "I Solisti di Santa Cecilia", "I Cameristi della Scala" and "I Solisti della Scala", the "Zephirus" flute orchestra.
In 2003 he founded and directed the Janua Coeli Globus which merges the experience of chamber music with the theater of prose, taking care of the preparation of a show on the Creed of G. Mazzini which will inaugurate the events of Genoa European Capital of Culture. The following were subsequently staged in Genoa: ”La canzone del Sangue” by G. D'Annunzio and “Otto tempo per un presagio” by B. Rombi; at the Spoleto Festival "Sotto le ali Divine" by Jacopone da Todi.
As a soloist he performed the concerts of: D. Cimarosa, A. Vivaldi, W.A.Mozart, S. Mercadante, J.S. Bach, F. Borne with the Genoa Chamber Orchestra, the Gunpo Sinfonic Orchestra, the Brandenburg Concertos by J. S. Bach and the concert by G. F. Ghedini with the orchestra of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna.
He taught flute courses in Italy and abroad. He held several flute master classes at the South Korean University of Music.
Invited by the Presidency of the Dominican Republic, he participated as a flute teacher in the training courses of the San Domingo Youth Orchestra.
He is a professor at the Flute Academy of Bologna and at the Opera School of the Teatro Comunale.
